What Verified by autobids means
A listing carries this badge once our team has checked the seller's documents against the listing. The box on each listing shows which checks were done, with a tick only where a check exists.
RC and papers
Sellers upload their RC, insurance and ID. We compare the registration details, owner name, registration year and loan status with what the seller wrote in the listing.
Service history
Where a seller shares service records or invoices, we check them and mark the listing with a tick. If there are none, the tick is left off.
Inspection report
Sellers can book an autobids inspection. The report is shown on the listing, again with a tick only when it exists.
Verified by autobids
Before this listing went live, our team checked the seller's registration certificate, photo ID and insurance policy, and compared them with the details in this listing:
- registered owner
- registration number
- make, model and year
- fuel type
- loan status
- insurance validity
Where available, we also checked government records for the registration and pending challans. The check was done on the date shown on the listing and reflects the records we saw then.
Verified means the documents matched the listing on that date. It does not cover the vehicle's mechanical condition, accident history beyond what the seller declared, or anything that changed after the check. Please inspect the vehicle and its original documents in person before you pay.
